Rib Eye, butternut squash, bruschetta dinner.

Our dinner was better than yours.

Really. It was.

First, let's talk about the Pittsburgh rib eye. AMAZING! Seasoned heavily with salt and pepper. Pittsburgh is not for the wary; you want to char the steak while keeping the inside medium rare - medium.

Next, butternut squash. Chopped butternut squash (found at Sprouts) tossed in olive oil, garlic salt, pepper, and cinnamon. No measurements here. Everything depends on what YOU like. Preheat the oven to 425. Place seasoned squash onto cookie sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.

On to the next one; bruschetta. Take one whole grain baguette and cut it into 1 inch slices. You will want to brush baguette slices with olive oil.  After the slices have been slathered in olive oil, place the basil leaves, mozzarella, and roma tomatoes (in that order) onto the bread. Place into the oven you previously preheated for 5 minutes.

Finally, don't forget to purchase some cheap but wonderfully delicious wine. Today we bought some amazing Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon. Both were roughly $10 at Sprouts and tasted way better than your usual $10 wine.

This dinner was probably a 8 out of 10. It would have been better with some corn ;). Now kiddos, don't forget to respect your dinner with an amazing dessert.
